KAMPOS

Kambos is approximately 6 km from Skala. There is an upper (Ano) and a lower (Kato) Kámbos also known as Kambos Beach. Ano Kambos is built around a picturesque square with a beautiful church on one side and tasty tavern, a internet cafe, cafe and a mini market on the other side. The church of the Annunciation (Evangelismos) was built by the villag ers in 1937, they are very proud of it and celebrate there everything from Easter to weddings keeping a very tight community, but at the same time keeping an open mind to tourists who have built homes around this little expanding village.
