 Twin Beaches: Double the Fun

Didymes Paralies, or Twin Beaches, are a pair of idyllic coves located on the eastern side of Patmos, near the port of Skala. Both beaches are sandy and non-organized, with crystal-clear blue waters. They are easily accessible by car or on foot, and are a popular spot for locals and tourists alike.

To reach the Twin Beaches, simply follow the road to Panagia Geranou Church and park your car next to the road. before the downhill for Livadi Geranou, then, walk down the short path to the beach. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the path can be a bit steep in places.

Once you reach the beach, you`ll be greeted by two stunning coves, separated by a rocky formation. The beaches are covered in fine pebbles and sand, and the water is so clear that you can see all the way to the bottom.

There are no sunbeds or umbrellas available on the Twin Beaches, so be sure to bring your own. There is also no lifeguard on duty, so swim with caution.
